we returned this week from the atlanta gift show (which was very successful, thank goodness), and we’re busily entering orders into the system… our next hurdle is the big city — the ny gift show. we need to get our booth together in the next couple of weeks. the new york show is always such a challenge for us from a merchandising stand point. you know, it’s just hard to drag all your product and display tables and back drop and platforms and flooring, etc., etc., and try to cram it into a little space (on the piers, for heaven’s sake), and figure out how you are going to hang your lighting attractively and SAFELY (buyers don’t wish to be bonked on the head by a falling big bufta, now do they?), and figure out how ALL this stuff is going to fit into this little bitty booth and not [...]
